Congratulations to Jamie and Emma on creating a charming cottage that has clearly been restored to the highest standards. Peace and tranquillity with panoramic countryside views, close to idyllic beaches and tourist attractions alike. We will be returning in the future and recommending to family and friends alike. Thank you we have thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
Thank you so much for a great stay. We loved the cottage, it was a home from home. I will miss walking up to the beautiful view from the dining table. Perfect location for everywhere we wanted to visit. We loved all the beach walks, our dog Beau loved paddling in the sea! We would recommend visiting Tenby, Barafundle Bay, Freshwater West (this was our favourite beach), the Longhouse at Freshwater East for a great Sunday lunch and dog friendly, fish and chips in Tenby (Fecci’s) was lovely, best fish and chips we have had by the coast. We look forward to returning next year!
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! The cottage is very comfortable. Thank you to Jaime and Emma for their recommendations for rainy days (we brought the bad weather with us!) and to Sasha who provided us with canine entertainment! We will be back! THE NEWTONS We had a great stay at Highfields Cottage despite the rain, wind and storms. Eddie (our dog) particularly enjoyed Sunday lunch at Stackpole Inn, his walks on Freshwater East, Freshwater West and Barafundle Bay. Highly recommend The Cake Shop in Pembroke town centre and a walk around the castle and mill ponds.
The cottage is absolutely perfect. Furnished to an extremely high standard with a dog friendly enclosed garden. A huge thank you to both Jamie and Emma for their helpful recommendations and friendly welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to this beautiful area!
We have received a very warm welcome from Jaime and Emma. They have continued to give us good advice about the area and to ensure all week that we had everything we needed. The cottage has been beautifully decorated and we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We have been visiting this part of Pembrokeshire for many years and the cottage is ideally placed to access the beautiful beaches and coastline. We certainly hope to make a return visit. One of the highlights has been sitting out for our morning coffee overlooking the peaceful fields and farmland. The log burner made the living room very cosy to settle down with a good book in the evening! Thank you Emma & Jaime for a lovely stay.
We have had a lovely stay at Highfields Cottage. Our first time in Pembrokeshire. Although the weather was not great for us we still managed some days on the beach. Some highlights include- - Walking around Bosherston Lily ponds to Broadhaven South beach (magical lily ponds!) - Body boarding at Freshwater West - The beach down the road at Freshwater East is nice too - Crabbing! We went to Carew Castle and Lawrenny Quay. - We had a nice drive to St Davids & Solva - Pembroke Castle in the rain! If the weather is good then there is nowhere better for a beach holiday! P.S. If you have kids Folly Farm is also great.
We have had an amazing, relaxing stay here at Highfields Cottage, enjoying the view at all times. Everything was perfect. Jaime and Emma have created a wonderful and cosy home. We almost thought of moving to Wales because of Highfields Cottage. We think that it should be given a 5 star.
We have enjoyed a relaxing week at this lovely cottage, peaceful with lovely views but conveniently placed for beaches and attractions. We look forward to returning
A lovely peaceful cottage – just right for a relaxing holiday. Beautifully furnished and very close to wonderful beaches as well as shops etc
We were very lucky to be the first people to stay at Highfields Cottage and from the moment we walked through the door we knew that we were in for a good stay. A lot of work has gone into the renovations and it is thoughtfully and beautifully done. The building has a nice flow to it without it feeling cramped or overcrowded. All the work that has been done to it is of an exceptionally high standard. It has a very clean look and feel to it. It is also very comfortable. It is more than deserving of it's 4 Star rating, in fact we would go as far as saying that it should be 5 Star. Emma and Jamie were close by if we needed anything and knowing that they were onsite was reassuring, especially as we were the first people in. The views from the cottage are amazing and,if the weather is good, the sunsets over the valley were amazing. We took our dog with us and the enclosed garden was brilliant. She had a fantastic time too. We loved that the property was quite secluded but also very close to the local amenities. Pembroke is literally a couple of minutes away. It is well placed for many of the beaches and attractions around that area. We are definitely thinking of booking to stay again.
