Highfields Cottage is a charming detached bungalow on the owner's 7 acre smallholding. It is 1 of 3 properties including the owner’s farmhouse set round a shared courtyard tucked away down an unmade drive.

The cottage has wonderful sweeping rural views over the fields and has been renovated and furnished in a contemporary style with a fresh seaside feel. Double doors lead from the hall into the spacious L-shaped open plan living space with fitted kitchen area for preparing family meals, comfortable sofas allow you to cosy round the wood burning stove, while French doors open to a patio area and large lawn, ideal for enjoying an alfresco meal while you soak up the view. You are welcome to wander the surrounding field, children and pets will love the space.

Conveniently positioned just outside the medieval town of Pembroke with its majestic Castle, the birth place of Henry VII. In fact, you are less than a mile away from its choice of shops, pubs, restaurants and antique markets. A footpath takes you part of the way across the fields or alternatively you can catch a bus from the lane. There is a range of stunning beaches to visit including Barafundle Bay, Freshwater West where Robin Hood and Harry potter were filmed, and West Angle Bay are all within a short drive. Many have places where you can refresh including Wavecrest Cafe at Angle, The Point Inn, and Cafe Mor, a mobile Welsh sea food shack on the beach at Freshwater West are all well worth a visit, The Stackpole Inn also comes highly recommended.

Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore this beautiful coastline stopping off to admire the Green Bridge of Wales and St Govans, a 6th Century Chapel built into the cliffs. A walk round the lily ponds at Bosherston to Broadhaven South beach should not be missed, refresh at the local pub in the village of Bosherston or enjoy the Olde Worlde Tea Rooms for a traditional afternoon tea.

A lovely holiday cottage and an ideal base to explore all the area has to offer whatever the season.
